Enlightenment is great, sure, but your inbox is full and you can never seem to find time to clean your apartment. We get you. Our meditations are designed with you and your life in mind. We use a combination of research-backed, evidence-based mindfulness techniques to guide you to a calmer, more focused, and happier you.
WHAT WE OFFER
This is for those on that pursuit of happiness. We'll lead you through gratitude & loving-kindness meditations that are designed to up-train the happiness center in your brain. Leave feeling like Pharrell circa 2013- aka with one seriously big skip in your step.
The left prefrontal cortex is the happiness center in our brains. When there is more activity here, there is less activity in the amygdala (the home of fear, disgust, anger, and negative emotions in general). When we have a strong L-PFC, we are more prone to positive states of mind.
If you're feeling a little mentally fuzzy and you're juggling way too many balls, this class is for you. We'll use visualization and other activities to teach you the tools to do better; leaving you lazer-beam focused and ready to take on the world.
The part of our brain that drives selective attention is the pre-frontal cortex. Selective attention is the ability to tune our attention into one object without tuning it into others. (Think: listening to a friend talk about their relationship problems while at a noisy bar.)
This is the class for when the world feels a little too loud and you're living in a whirlwind. We use breathing techniques and activities to help you and your mind reach a greater sense of calm and balance. #keepcalmandcarryon
Any event that interferes with our sense of well-being (think: shark attacks and performance reviews from our boss) is tended to by our core brain. By training ourselves to abdominal breathe, we are training ourselves to calm our core brain via our body. (If that isn't a life hack, we don't know what is.)

HOW IT WORKS
You know how your regular fitness or yoga studio works? We're the same- except instead of helping you train your body, you're training your mind. Our classes are 45 minutes long (30 minutes for our lunch-hour classes) and beginners are absolutely welcome and encouraged.
