Join Carolyn Anne Budgell for a day of silence, reflection and breath. Meditation is so much more than finding stillness. Meditation is the willingness to gaze into the heart of our habits and know that we can accept, change and grow.
During the morning and afternoon sessions, there will be some guidance to find the seat, the posture and gentle breathing techniques. You can also expect potent questions and expansive quiet to contemplate your present intention.
Silence reminds us that we must face ourselves and do the work. Silence also infers that healing lies in the space around us and in the community that we surround ourselves with.
The techniques offered are attributed to Zen and Tibetan Buddhist studies that Carolyn has done with Adyashanti and Reggie Ray. These processes appeal to Carolyn in that they are open and liberal. You may come to realize that the insights truly lie within us when we get quiet enough to listen.
